Super-high Density Slurry Cementing Technology

Technology overview:

The cement slurry has a density controlled within 2.5g/cm³~2.7g/cm³, and has strong thixotropy and good stability and rheology, capable of forming of self-supporting gel structures as well as reduction and avoidance of lost circulation and other complicated downhole conditions, and solving the problems in respect of low compressive strength of super-high density cement slurry and settlement of weighting materials; at the same time, a new type of circular jetting and mixing batch mixer is developed during the ultra-high density slurry cementing construction to solve the problem of on-site mixing, and it has been awarded a national patent.

Application effect:

Aiming at the high pressure deep wells in the west China, the high-density and super-high density cement slurry system and cementing technology researched and developed independently have been successfully applied in a number of high-density focused exploration wells such as 1# Dongwan Well, Huo 10# Well, Huo 001# Well, Huo 002# Well, Huo 003# Well, Gaoquan 1# Well, An 5# Well and Moshen 1# Well, with all the cementing quality accepted.

The technology solves the technical problems of cementing of high pressure oil and gas wells in the south rim of Junggar Basin. At present, the technology has been successfully applied in 8 wells, providing strong technical support for the development of the complex high pressure oil and gas wells in the south rim of Junggar Basin.
